A race weekend at Circuit Zandvoort is intense, impressive, and full of emotion. The sound of the cars, the tension in the grandstands, and the atmosphere around the track make a DTM weekend truly unforgettable. But for many motorsport fans, there is also another side: travelling alone, eating alone, and returning to a quiet hotel room in the evening.
During the DTM Zandvoort 2026 weekend, Motorsport Moments introduces a new travel concept. A small scale, fully organised motorsport weekend where you may arrive on your own, but experience everything together. There are no worries about tickets, transport, or planning. The focus is purely on motorsport, atmosphere, and like minded people.
This first edition is a pilot. Intentionally small, personal, and designed to discover what a Motorsport Moments weekend really feels like.
This first Motorsport Moments trip is primarily aimed at solo travellers, although couples are of course more than welcome. From my background in motorsport photography, I know how demanding a race day can be and how empty it can feel afterwards when there is no one to share the experience with.
Visiting new circuits or experiencing a race series like DTM for the first time is incredible. But when friends or family do not share that passion, taking that step on your own can feel like a hurdle. Motorsport Moments brings together people who share the same love for motorsport and want to experience it together.
Not only travelling to the circuit as a group, but also creating moments around it. Through activities outside the circuit, you get to know each other in a relaxed way. Think of a pub quiz, a barbecue, or a sim race. This naturally creates a group where everyone feels welcome, even if you arrive knowing no one.
In addition to the group experience, this Motorsport Moments weekend is all about carefree enjoyment. The only thing you need to arrange yourself is your journey to and from the hotel. Everything else is taken care of.
During the DTM Zandvoort 2026 weekend, we stay in a comfortable four star hotel in Haarlem, including a generous breakfast. From the hotel, we travel together by bus to Circuit Zandvoort. At the end of each race day, we return together as well.
Every evening, we dine together as a group. Over a well prepared dinner, there is plenty of time to talk about the races, share experiences, and get to know each other better. Alongside these moments, there is also room for a playful touch of competition. In a relaxed and optional way, we challenge each other during a pub quiz or sim race. These small elements create connection and enjoyment.
